Apple has just started offering the iPhone in a 16GB version, priced at $499. The iPod Touch is now available in a new 32GB version, also priced at $499.

The world’s thinnest notebook is now shipping, Apple announced today. MacBook Air measures an unprecedented 0.16-inches at its thinnest point. And at its maximum height of 0.76-inches, it’s less than the thinnest point on competing notebooks.

Last week, both Apple and AT&T reported their earnings. Apple has reported 3.7 million in iPhone sales worldwide, while AT T had a paltry 2 million iPhone activations leading many to wonder as to why the gap between the two.

Apple today made its 2008 proxy statements available online at www.apple.com/investor. The move, complying with the US Securities and Exchange Commission’s new Notice and Access rule, allows Apple to significantly reduce the environmental impact of producing and delivering printed materials.
